mock draft from cnnsi

The latest mock draft looks very interesting. Sedrick Ellis falls to #9 to the Bengals, which gets me thinking: the Ravens and Bengals are at #8 and #9 respectively. Since both of the teams are in the same division, wouldn't it make sense if the Saints and Ravens traded spots, to keep the Ravens' division rival from grabbing a high-impact player like Sedrick Ellis?

yes it does but are they that sold on the kid. We would have to loss a third round pick for that maove, at the least. it makes sense for the Ravens too, they may go QB and dropping back a couple of spots would save them money and they will still get that QB. Bengals are no threat.

You do realize Glen Dorsey and Sedrick Ellis are virtually the same size right? So I guess Dorsey is doomed too?

DT/DE I like that. I am wondering if he could be the big sleeper of the draft.

I'd gladly leapfrog the Bengals for a 3rd to nab Ellis if he drops that far. Small price to pay if he can ignite the front seven.

Risk vs reward.... Could we afford it at this stage of our defense??

I say yes. Ellis will be a pro bowler for years to come.

Maybe a faster stronger La'Roi Glover is who he reminds me of.
