Do we need a QB in the draft???

With Jamie doubters out there do we need to pick up a QB late in the draft or pick up a college FA after the draft? Here are some late or CFA players.

Who's your pick????

Name Position Height Weight College
Ainge, Erik QB 6'6" 225 Tennessee
Booty, John David QB 6'3" 213 Southern Cal
Brink, Alex QB 6'2" 212 Washington State
Dixon, Dennis QB 6'4" 205 Oregon
Flynn, Matt QB 6'2" 228 LSU
Johnson, Josh QB 6'3" 198 San Diego
Keller, Sam QB 6'3" 228 Nebraska
Morelli, Anthony QB 6'4" 225 Penn State
Morris, Bernard QB 6'4" 212 Marshall
O'Connell, Kevin QB 6'6" 228 San Diego State
Ostrander, T.C. QB 6'2" 221 Stanford
Smith, Paul QB 6'1" 198 Tulsa

Great question Sapp - Yes!!

.... Paul Smith. Josh Johnson. 4th rounders.

Either could be a 2nd string.

I'm a Paul Smith fan also. Watched him play against USM.

He freakin' torched us... Basically shook the defense to their knees no matter what Bower threw at them.

By the way - did you see the guys Fedora recruited?? WHAT???

Go Eagles!!

I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Keller or Brennan in the 6th or 7th round. We could certainly use depth at the position.

Is Palko still on the practice squad?

Yes he is unless he's back on the active roster... he's been shuffling back and forth.

USM had one heck of a recruiting year. We torched Ole Miss for alot of players they thought they had sewn up. I liked Bower (alot), but this may have been what we needed. Go Eagles!

O'Connell or Keller in the 7th. Both would be great additions

I like Palko tbh! We could draft someone else as well, as Martin really has no worth to us imo. I suppose with 2 young back up's to Brees surely one of them will be of a decent quality I would hope!

None of these guys are worth diddly poo! And that includes that kid Ryan who I think is the most overrated player to come down the pike since Aundray Bruce! And yes, that does include Mr.Int Matt Flynn as well!

Now there's TWO things we agree on Missile..... uh-oh.

i have to disagree wit you a bit, i think eric ainge will be a steal for some team. he has a really quick release, is accurate and doesnt take sacks. i think he was only sacked around 5 times the whole year, and doing it in the SEC at that... now im not saying he will be a superstar, i just think he will be a solid backup after getting a lil NFL experience...

agreed pak. Eric will be ok as long as you do not have him penciled in as a starter. Yet there is upside to his game where he might be a starter type, some two years down the road with the right coaching. I will leave this one to Sean.
