Saints may trade for Stroud!
The New Orleans Saints might be interested in trading a draft choice for a defensive tackle, possibly for Jacksonville's Marcus Stroud, who could replace Brian Young.
Stroud missed seven games last season, four because of a suspension for violating the league's steroid policy. A seven-year veteran, he had three sacks and 22 total tackles in nine games last season. Source: Times-Picayune |
Re: Saints may trade for Stroud!
May... I wouldn't get too excited yet. I would love to have him though. A 3rd and 5th should do the trick as Stroud and Jenkins are comparable.

Re: Saints may trade for Stroud!
Stroud would help, but I don't expect any more big moves after the Vilma deal. It'll be interesting to see what his contract looks like. It should be incentive heavy, though.

PFT has Stroud visiting the Bills.

That may have been the idea before Young was re-signed.

Why Stroud.>>>>>>>>>>>>> Young

Re: Saints may trade for Stroud!
Stroud has already been suspended once for juicing up so if he gets caught again...he is done for a whole year...plus the fact that only had 22 tackles last year stands out to me. And he is 29, with a drug problem....and thats just what we know of.

Re: Saints may trade for Stroud!
I know bobba and i agree on all points, but he is better than anybody on our roster at DT.

Re: Saints may trade for Stroud!
I'd cream my pants if we got Stroud. Imagine our DLine with him in there!

Re: Saints may trade for Stroud!
Imagine a rotation of Thomas, Stroud, and Young... very nice.
