Well we picked up Gay, and McCrary. Got the trade done for Vilma, and things are becoming clearer and clearer. So, I pose this question to all of you..........................................What is next before the draft?


My gut tells me the Shockey deal WILL go through, and we will find ourselves with a DT either through FA or trade. That would give us countless number of options for the draft, and seeing how this draft is sooooo deep we may be able to trade down and get draft picks back.

I think we'll make trade for another impact player. Hall, Sheppard, and Shockey are guys that can still be had. Hackett, Johnson, and Wilford haven't signed with anyone yet either.

I'm expecting some "deapth" signings to fill out a roster for TC. I don't expect any big moves. I do look for Smith, Colston and Evans to get new deals.

It seems like there's a log jam at the top of the CB class in the draft this year. At 10, we can get a very good CB capable of starting today and becoming the #1 in a couple seasons. We've got good deapth with Craft, Young, David and Gay, I'm actually pretty pleased with the way this position is shaping up.

I see us landing a DT soon....We were ready to sign kelly but got beat out and was trying to trade for Stroud so this tells me we are wanting a DT really bad.

How long??
 

Does free agency last? What players do yall think we might go after for the remainder of FA?

I'm actually not excited about Shockey because we already have Deuce,McKenzie,and Vilma rehabing their knees. Why give up a very high pick for another injured player?

I'd be cool with Lito Shepard.

Deep draft? I don't know if I buy that. They say that every year. Define deep and what areas?

CB, WR, and RB are quite deep. Many draft analyst believe the OL crop is pretty deep also. This draft my lack superstar talent, but it's a good group of solid prospects.

I'd like a trade for shepperd. That move would really give us so many options in the draft
