Darrell Jackson released

A day after the San Francisco 49ers signed Bryant Johnson to a one-year, $2 million contact, they cut wide receiver Darrell Jackson, who came to the 49ers last year in a trade.

Jackson was informed by head coach Mike Nolan that he was being released. He was scheduled to make $4 million this year. Jackson came to the 49ers in a draft day trade in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

He caught 46 passes for 497 yards and three touchdowns in 15 starts last season.

Before anyone mentions it, NO he would not look good in Black and Gold, LOL...everytime someone gets cut we want them!!!LOL
