could the saints move up?
many, including myself, would rather see them move down and collect more draft picks or proven players in a trade...however, the saints have shown in the past they are not afraid to go after someone they like......
come hell or high water, we'll know in a few weeks if this is the case...... the jets hold the 6th pick. who may be available that the saints could pull the trigger? from kffl........ Jets | Team could look to trade down in draft Thu, 10 Apr 2008 18:00:10 -0700 Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports the New York Jets could look to trade down in the 2008 NFL Draft. The Jets currently hold the No. 6 overall pick in the draft. The team could look to trade down to between No. 7 and No. 15 overall. They have discussed a trade with at least one team in that range. |
Re: could the saints move up?
i just keep wondering how many guns would go off in new orleans if the saints move up and take mcfadden?
bang, bang................. |
Re: could the saints move up?
i think mcfadden will be gone and the only person i could see available at 6 that would be worth trading up for is ellis... i think dorsey will be gone by then

Re: could the saints move up?
I wouldn't mind moving up if it meant that we could get Dorsey or Ellis, I think it would be absolutely worth it. This team is just a few small holes being filled away from being back in the playoffs.

Re: could the saints move up?
Getting McFadden and Shockey for a 2nd would be Payton's ultimate dream.
|
Re: could the saints move up?
I wouldn't mind moving up and getting any of the top 6 players.

Re: could the saints move up?
If you want Dorsey or Ellis, you need to trade ahead of the Bengals as I would imagine they will be pegging either of those two if they slip and even Rivers.

Re: could the saints move up?
Yes moving up that high would be only to get Ellis or Dorsey.
I think we can wait it out to see if Rivers fall to us. |
