would u of liked olsen better
 

would any of you rather seen us take olsen TE last year rather than meachum if you had no choice on a D player seeing how we went O insted of D like we should of.

i just think he was a better player and a better fit. we still now need a TE and we had WR already that are as good or better than Mech. I hope he really does pick up his game this year. plus we wouldnt be talking about using another top pick on an O player again.

At one time I thought Zach Hilton would be great. Off the subject but whatever happened to him? He was fearless.

I thought Hilton and Boo would both be stars at TE and then poof-both gone.

ya im not sure what happened there but the must have been bad to not be able to make a spot at our TE.

I know Boo was banged up alot, and I don't remember but maybe Hilton wasn't a great blocking tight end. But the one Saint I still regret us cutting is Mike Haas. I think he breaks into the Bears line up this year. He has great hands.

no.. meachem was rated much higher then olson and the saints had Meachem rated very high on their board.. probably around the 15 range.. 12 spots higher then we selected him...

I think in time Meachem will show us why they picked him. I just have a feeling he will show up. I am basing this feeling on nothing, but I just have a feeling.

No at that point best available was the best idea. We thought we had addressed our defensive needs with free agency.

paul posluszny or maybe branch who was a high rated talent but dropped a long way for certain reasons.

hell even the CBs houston and wright i thought was a better pick. if i remember right i didnt like branch much cause of caricter issues tho but i did think he would of helped us more.
