"I don't think there was ever any doubt of me getting a shot (to come back from the injury)," McAllister said Thursday. "I think it was more so working to figure out how we can both be protected in this thing, because I plan to be here for more than just this year. I've still got a few good years left in me." McAllister, 29, is signed through the 2012 season. He was scheduled to earn $3.6 million in salary this season, plus $1.1 million in bonuses. |
