Re: What do u think about Hester?
I agree that he does not compare to Alstott. Alstott was a bruising runner who relied purely on contact to gain yards. While Hester is a good short yardage back, his feet are much quicker than Alstott's but he also doesnt have the straight ahead take on blocking ability that Alstott had. Ive seen some comparison to Nick Goings in terms of skillsets (I think he has the potential to be a better pro). He will be a phenomenal special teams player. Hes a jack of all trades much like Brian Leonard from last year but I dont think he is at that level. He will certainly make contributions to a team that uses him effectively. I think his best role aside from special teams is a 3rd down back in a 2RB Shotgun set or other passing set for that matter. He can pick up the blitz, take a draw or even screen, and catch the ball in the flats. He will consistently get positive yardage on plays but isnt a big play threat in the pros. He will find his nitch on some team - however, I think his fit for the Saints would be on special teams and as a short yardage back. But I would not take him as early as the third. More like the 5th IMO.
