Rams take Dorsey or Long
Atlanta trade with us? long shot. Atlanta will take either Dorsey or Long left overs.
Now at 4 or 5 we could have a nice chance. But that is were the bottom drops out of the talent pool. Unless say for some reason Chris Long drops out of the top 3. Ellis and Gholston are good players but have benifited from a weak draft in round 1. The risk is not that great but the salaries will be.
McFadden I am writing off. Not a Sean type of player off the field. But Oakland does not care about that and besides they have already dumped a ton of cash into the DL.
KC will stand pat and take on of the two. They do not need the picks now.Which one? either they need all the help they can get on the DL.
Jets would love to have Gholston or McFadden. So if Ellis falls here, baring the Jets trading up we have a shot at Ellis. If KC trades down they will take him.
So that leaves who ever falls to 7/8 McKelvin, Ryan, Rivers, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Albert.
I say we have a shot at Ellis at 6. Thats the best deal for us without breaking the bank. 300 pts in trade value. Thats or second round pick. We would get a pick in exchange in the third probably to make it work out numbers wise. But the Jets do not have a third. Maybe both of there 4ths.
Sorry not worth it. We would be busy on day 2 though.
you're wrong on this, Kansas City has no reason to stay at 5 lol. they need a o linemen, they don't get good enough value at #5. if they swap with us and grab an o linemen at #10 it fits better for them and the get even more picks to rebuild with.
