Our first and third for their first and 5th.....Nice move. Can possibly find a steal with a couple of 5th rounders, unless they are going to use one of those for Shockey.

this is a MUCH better move than giving up 2 first round picks and a second for dorsey...i personally have said ellis is better, and many scouts don't see much of a drop from dorsey to ellis

Great trade I would have been cool with giving up a first and third but to get a fifth great move.

I really like it. I can live without a 3rd and 4th. At lease we still have #2. If we don't pull off the shockey trade who is for moving back in the 2nd to get a couple more picks?

What a great value at 7 with only giving up a 3 and still getting a 5. Dorsey is better but not enough to have given our 1, 2 and next years 1 IMO. Sed will make a huge impact, I could not be happier, we can still grab a CB later, much depth this year in that position.

The draft of off to a great start for the Saints. They pulled the trigger and got the player that they needed.

Just adding Ellis to Vilma (and I oh so hope that Morgan can stay healthy) will move the defense a minimum of top slots up in scoring and passing defense.
