trade brown now?

if we was willing to give him up b4 what do u think about trading him now? see what we can get for a young 2 time pro bowl linemen. maybe a first or with our 2nd move up to grab another great player.

Who else would you like to see us get out of this draft? I honestly wouldnt mind trading him and the 2nd if need be with the chiefs to move up and get mendenhall who i think is going to be awsome.

I don't understand the reasoning around trading Brown? Did something happen that makes him expendable? The time to make a run for the Superbowl is now. Why give up a solid proven young Tackle. Who do you have to fill in the hole? Not to mention your putting your franchise QB at risk.

i think mendenhall will be good 2 but i wouldnt trade for a rb. That is me though. if i was chicago i would take mendenhall.

im just saying they were willing to give him up for dorsey so they must think they have a reliable backup. i read a lot how he was hurt and his replacement outplayed him. i wouldnt of thought that but if its true i think a rb like mendenhall would make our O the number one. i think he would improve it more than shockey.

i think the way they must have looked at it with dorsey is, we can take a slight downgrade at lt for an over all upgrade for the team. i dont think you continue looking to trade him though

plus isnt this his last year? if we do feel we have a player to step in it wouldnt hurt to get sumthing for him seeing how i also heard we mite not sign him back. dont get me wrong i like him but if the FO knows sumthing that we dont i wouldnt mind it. it will be hard to sign all our talented free agents next year.

Love it! especially seeing how we didnt gave up much for a great player at a need spot.

You can't give up Brown now. I would have understood it for getting Dorsey, but you won't find that kind of value now at the end of the 1st or the beginning of the second.

Unless he is playing games, Payton has stated that the Saints have no intention of trading Brown.

No offense bro, but Brown has only made one Pro Bowl & that was 2 years ago. Honestly....I thought there were other guys on the line that should have made it that year instead of Brown. He kind of rode that winning wave into the Pro Bowl. He's solid....I just don't think he's a pro bowl calber LT. Maybe at RT, though.

I don't believe it. No, I really don't believe that Brown was ever on the trading block. Where did that rumor come from? I think it was just bull, nothing more.
