JUST IN CASE: Saints officials are preparing for the possibility that outside linebacker Derrick Rodgers will be suspended for the season opener at Seattle on Sept. 7 for violating the league's personal conduct policy while he was a member of the Miami Dolphins.

Rodgers pleaded no contest in January to charges of attacking his wife and a man at a restaurant in July 2002. Backup weakside linebacker James Allen likely would be Rodgers' replacement against the Seahawks.

"I haven't heard anything," Rodgers said. "So I don't know."

Whats really sad is that now hes a Saint now and he\'ll probably do something stupid again during the season
