Re: your least favorite division rival
ah..i hate the patriots...sorry it wasnt a choice but i had to say it
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
not including the patriots and cowboys obviously =PPP!
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
I do not like any of the teams. I try to hate them all the same. but if I pick one it has to be our long time rival Atlanta.
But as for road trips there is no division that makes you feel welcome as those in the NFC South. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
ah....i kinda got a thing for the panthers cuz i played for the panthers in pee-wee football lol...i liked watching vick...its too bad he is a bad person...i liked the buccs when they had warren sapp....i cant pick one...they all have a place in my heart...i just want the saints to come out on top.....in my mind everybody else in the nfc south sucks
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
I'll answer for - rjakapeanut - Its the Saints. LMAO.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
i absolutely hated atlanta the most when they had vick becuase we'd always come so close to sacking him and he'd run away for a touchdown, but now that he is gone i do miss watching him was a very exciting athlete
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
used to be the falcons...but i'm really hating the bucs as of late.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
falclowns, bucs,and panthers.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
For me it's probably the Falcons. Too much bad blood and history with them.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
Hands down...The Falcons; one of the best rivalries in sports that gets no attention...
It now has an extra dimension after those UGa fans started their schtuff that LSU didn't deserve the National Title... New Quarterback Ryan (Fresh Fish)...tell the Saints new revamped DLine to pin their ears back this season and intiate some Post Traumatic Syndrome... It is so on... Know their a division rival, and he'll probably do some schtuff to tee me off, but you gotta like Chuckie (Jon Gruden) there in Tampa with his sideline frustration... Plus, I like Jake Delhomme (Note: Nice Job Mickey and Haslett keeping Brooks, Sweet, really); I hope he rebounds his career, though not at the expense of the Saints; by season's end Jake and Foxie may be gone and it might be easier to hate 'em... My one regret, we do not have Darth Vick to lead the Home Depot Empire against the Saints... PS The Jacksonville Game this year, Didn't you want to see Fujita just get a full load on Maurice Jones Drew and then mimick his Daniel-san Celebration?!? |

for me its the falcons, too much history against those jerks. not only that, but 9 times out of 10 when i saints player i love leaves, he heads to atlanta. thats just adds to my hatred. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
I sure would like to be in the Old NFC West though, improving those all-time series records against the 49ers and Rams...
I'd also like to see Dallas and Philly more... At a Saints Game, I want to date the chick with the F#@! Philly shirt during the 2006 divisional playoff; Man that was awesome! |
Re: your least favorite division rival
i like jon gruden alot but i don't really like any of the other bucaneers players. i root against them always but if we ever need a coach we should get gruden hes hella cool lol
i like steve smith on the panthers. thats it. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
I have to say a longstanding and strong hatred of the Falcons wins out.
Reason: Dirty Bird, Vick, ATL Fans and Vick. Not fond of Tampa or Carolina either just not as much. I really still don't like SF and they are not in the division anymore. (I have many bad memories of losses to SF, currently still in counceling) Cowboys are also a team I hate - Saints have ruled them in recent games (With the exception of preseason) so I find it difficult to hate the less fortunate. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
falcons 100%, how could it not be the dirty birds? i wana beat them by 50 everytime we play em
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
Washington and Kansas City are the only ones I hate, because of the names of the teams. But of the Saints NFC South rivalys, I would have to say the one I want them to beat the most is Carolina.

Re: your least favorite division rival
Falcons, no question. In my mind the Bucs and Panthers are at least well-managed franchises and the fans aren't that bad, but the Falclowns are annoying and there's too much bad blood.
*I want to take this opportunity to again thank to the Falcons for trading up to select Sam Baker. Nice. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
For me its the Falcons. This goes way back to their last minute heroics in the late 70's with Steve Barkowski throwing last minute TD passes to snatch the win away from us. We outplayed them the whole game and both in 78 and 79 the Falcons were the team that kept Archie and the Saints from making the first playoff appearance ever for the Saints.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
Falcons, old school. Those Big Bens, ouch! Also, the game that I still remember as a kid was a 62-7 rout in Tulane stadium. Will never forget that beating they gave us. No kneeling down that day.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
I guess I'd say the Bucs. I'm so happy they got good just about the time we were going to have to face them twice a year. Thanks.
However, I can't shake my hatered for the 9ers. Nothing like getting thumped by a bunch from Cali! I'm glad they suck now. There is some sort of poetic justice in that. Don't get me wrong, they had a great organization and some very good players, but I hate them. Hate them. Hate them. In fact, it is made worse because when I was younger the only time I got to see the Saints is when they were getting their azzes handed to them by the 9ers. Joy. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
i hate them all equally!!
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
Falgoony-birds without hesitation
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
i can be indecisive, and this is one of those times, i hate all of them with a passion.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
I have to argee I hate the patriots so bad
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
Bucs.
I used to live in the Tampa area and all there fans are D-bags that couldn't have found the Big Sombrero if you gave them a map until the won it in 01. I just feel pity for the Falcons right now, and at the end of the day, their fan base is the most like ours (ethnically diverse, southern). It's also tough to work up much hate for the Panthers. They just haven't been arond that long. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
Falcons!! Of all the games I've been to in the dome, Falcons fans were absolutely the worst in my experience. Rude, trash-talking, fight-inducing.
Never had a problem with any other fans in the dome... just those Falcons fans. |
Re: your least favorite division rival
Falcons.
|
Re: your least favorite division rival
Hands down the Falcons, especially since the Vick/Arthur Blank era. Being in Knoxville,Tn, my brother and I and 7 or 8 others used to always go to the Georgia Dome for the games. I even took my 6-month-old son to his first game there. We never had a problem until the year Blank took over and signed Vick as QB. Then the atmosphere changed and I could no longer bring my son or my wife to the Georgia Dome. The fans morphed into some of the worst I've ever had the mis-pleasure of being around. And at my age, 44, I have been around a lot in many different stadiums across this country. So, sorry, no, I don't feel a bit sorry for the demise of the Falcons lately, their fans or their owner's misfortune. They brought it on themselves, Karma's a *itch.
