The funny thing about this is ESPN already has a 2009 mock draft on their site. They have the Saints picking 26th next year. Now lets get real, way too early for this...

Very good question. I am hoping the Saints pick 32 after winning the Super Bowl. 26 is a pretty good prediction for the Saints. The Saints look like they have the guys to go deep into the playoffs which is why the 26th spot was selected. As for me, seriously, I am clueless right now. Just like any other season it will boil down to injuries and what was done to overcome them. It wouldn't surprise me if the Saints get to pick bottom 5 or top 5, or somewhere in the middle. The most interesting thing about the Saints is no one ever really has a clue on how their season will turn out. For many years when it looks like it's getting good it goes bad, and when it looks bad it gets good. One of these days perhaps.

LOL, so you're going out on a limb and guessing that we might be picking in the top 5, bottom 5, or somewhere in between. You might nail this one! Seriously though, I know whatcha mean. Who knows what will happen but my guess is 32. And you can take that to the bank...maybe.

haha well as i remember very clearly sports illustrated predicted us winning the super bowl against the san diego chargers last pre-season....that obviously didnt happen...i think our team gets overrated sometimes because of how amazing our offense is....but the saints are going to be good this season....10 wins?....better than last season....i cant honestly say i think that we will win the super bowl...but i cant see nebody in the NFC being able to beat us....who knows

lol short choppy steps....we may not even win the division but i have faith going into the playoffs....i think payton will cook something special up for our offense if we end up making the playoffs...the only reason i say we may not win is because the buccs won it last year...they were very solid and it seems like they made a few more aquisitions that could help them....u gotta beat the man remember....i think that if we dont win the division it will be because the buccs won 12 games and we will still have homefield in the first round

not at all being bias when i say the bucs are awful. we have better QB, better o line, better RBs, better WRs, better defensive line by miles, better LBs, possibly even a better secondary now rofl.

all that said....we kinda sucked last year....the defense is really the only upgrade we had this year...assuming our red cross does its job and gets them all better....almost everyone we picked up is hurt....ne way...i think im justified in saying that the bucs are the ones to beat....jeff garcia was impressive even tho drew is no doubt a head above him....if our defense picks it up this year i look for us to win the division and lead the nfc in wins this year...hopefully

michael turner went to Atl?....im not too worried...our run defense has been top notch the past couple seasons....except when it came to westbrook who tears up everybody....i dont think turner will do well this year in a new system....i dont know too much about jonathan stewart so im not going to comment on that
