41 million dollars is a steal. I think the original price was about 80 mil. And tv stations make jack! Especially since he's going to be making this a mega media company doing other things as well.

Very interesting and yes I feel this is a positive. Another thing that could happen in the future, this move may all but guarantee no more blackouts in the New Orleans area. Since Tom Benson now has TV interest, my guess is if the Saints fail to sell out a game, WVUE would simply buy the tickets. (I know that is not an issue right now as every game is a sell out these days). I doubt he is going to run the operation, you can bet Rita or someone else is going to have that gig.
