Straight from Alley's mouth today, he has signed a free agent contract w/ the Saints. Should make all of the LSU homers happy!

My good friend runs a wheel and tire shop with Corey Webster. His clientele is usually former and current LSU players. He's been friends w/ Alley for awhile. He called me up yesterday afternoon all excited about it after talking to Alley.

I went to High School with him. He is THE hardest person to take down. If this is true(I haven't talked to him.) It is a better pick up than Alexander.

If this is true, IMO he has the talent, size and speed needed to play in the NFL.The question is does he have the will and determination.

I don't know Alley's real reason for departing LSU other then recovering from ALC surgery. Having gone through this myself, (Thank you Dr. Andrews!), some people take longer mentally to recover then others. Hopefully this is all that it was and needed the assurance to compete at 100% I would LOVE to see him come to the Saints! Karney, Deuce, and Broussard all in the backfield. Bring on the wishbone! LOL

We (West Monroe) played against him a few years back and he didn't live up to the hype in that game but I know he was a beast in high school. If you were to see this guy in person you'd think he was a big LB. He had alot of speed in high school but after all the injuries I think he's shot. We'll see. If the Saints even signed the guy, which I've heard nothing about aside from that one source.
