Asked about the draft and Sed Ellis. Says Sed has done a really good job in the 3 days there, picked things up quick. Porter did a lot of good things, he was pleased with the conditioning. A Arrington did a good job, is an intelligent player.

Asked about Shockey: He's done so much for NY, Payton's experience with him gives him some insight into him but they are moving on and he's sure the Giants are tired of talking about it to.

Asked about the slow start last year: Level of competition was tougher to start the year than in 06. Turnover ratio, big plays, 2nd half of the games did them in.

Update Deuce: He's coming along, a lot of times the rehab is a slow process but with the mini camp coming up in 2 weeks we'll be able to see.
