If Mckenzie is not ready by game #1 who will our starting CB's be?
Who would be the nickle guy?

Randal Gay and Usama young? or the new kid Porter?

I'm guessing Usama Young would be, as it stands now. He was the one who filled in last year - and Gay is brand new to our system, won't know if he'd be better than Usama until preaseason starts.

As for Tracy Porter, time will tell...it's still too early to know very much.

Training Camp will separate the men from the boys.

David and Gay will most likely be the starters, Craft will be the nickle and young and porter will be the 4th n 5th corners until MM comes back

I think Gay and David would start, Usama is the nickle, Porter is the dime and Glenn is the 5th. Craft is gone.

Gay and David until MM returns. In nickel situations, David moves to the nickel and Young plays the outside. A healthy dose of Porter and Glenn in the mix.

If MM can't play at the beginning of the season, then I think David and Gay would be the starters. But one day it would be great to see Porter and Young starting.

what about personel lineup....young lineup with quicker receivers and david and gay line up with better catchers?....is that a possibility or will that complicate the defense too much?

I'm going with Young and Gay. I think with a year plus under Young's belt he moves to the #3 and if MM is still out that bumps Gay from #2 to #1 and moves Young to #2. Craft to the nickel and David in the dime. I say David in the Dime only because he is a good zone corner and given the Saints run the same "D" as last year they will remain mostly zone while in the Dime. That is if Porter doesn't impress. If he does I am hoping David is trade bait or given his outright release. I don't think Glenn will be kept unless MM is not ready.
