I was more impressed that he gave up his body so often in pass protection. Some of the blocks came against DE's and fast OLB's eachof whom significantly outweighed him. Brees was the beneficiary of Bush's effectiveness and I doubt the alternative personnel would have been as good.

Exactly what he needs to do... Payton should him that clip right before every game.

As I was watching the 4th quarter of the Ole Miss game when McCluster was in at running back, all I could think about was this is what Reggie needs to do. It was a prime example of how you can play fast and follow your blockers at the same time.

He needs to that on the punt returns too. Look for one block to set up and hit a lane.

After my Bush bashing a while ago...I will say, I was very impressed with his pass defense A+! Very happy with the "up the gut for 19 and a TD run. He just needs to do it more often.

He showed a nice stiff arm in the philly game too. Not a lot of backs in the league do all the things that he does. He's not the best in all areas (of course) but his versatility is phenomenal. I'd like to see bush on some counters tho.

I think Reggie did an excellent job of blocking in the Eagles game...
BUT;
Everytime I see him running backwards after receiving a punt it makes me toss the remote.
And as far as the touchdown run against the Eagles, that was more of an Eagle's defensive blunder than anything. Look at the video in slow-mo. One Eagle LB was never blocked but he turned his back to Bush as Bush ran right behind him, and it looks like a safety was brought up at the top of the screen and he was never blocked and Bush ran by him. I guess he was waiting for Bush to kick it outside. Not to take anything away from Bush, but I'm sorry, that was just poor defense by the Eagles.

Look, don't misunderstand me, I'm a Bush fan and I think this kid has tremendous talent, but it seems like he's just trying too hard to make something happen everytime he touches the ball when it's not there instead of taking what the defense gives.
Bush is probably gonna get alot of touches this Sunday with Bell out and Pierre still not 100%, but I'm ready, I've already duct taped the sides of my remote to keep it from breaking apart when I toss it.
