Bills potential gameplan for the Saints...

Five Ways to Silence The Saints : Buffalo Sports Daily

5 ways to silence the Saints:

1) Win the turnover battle.

2) Stop the Saints running game.

3) Improve red zone efficiency (on both sides of the ball)

4) Don't abandon the run.

5) User the middle of the field in the passing game.

Looks like a massive fail to me.

and a chuckle from the comments section:

Joey: The saints and their fans want this win SOOOO BAADD!!! 3-0 going into the dome against the Jets… We want that real bad. If the saints turn the ball over more than their fair share and the bills capitalize on those turnovers… that’s the best chance they have to win. I don’t think saints fans have anticipated a football game this much since the bears game in the nfc championship a few years back.
Seriously?!

The frickin' Bills... yea, I'm on the edge of my seat right now.

A big key for us notching a win in Buffalo will be to contain Fred Jackson. I think he's a special back who's had to play in the shadow of Lynch since he's been there. Limit his his yardage and make Edwards beats us over the top.

Let's just watch our boys get off to a 3-0 start. GEAUX SAINTS!!!

Here's a plan - sit back in pass coverage and double Owens, dare them to beat us running the ball. Then T.O. will throw a sh*tfit about not getting the ball and we watch them implode.

bills are better than some might think. papz is right though, if we contain jackson and make trent beat us we should be ok. i think this game might be closer than what i want it to be.

The Bills fans are looking at the fact that we gave up points to a Rookie QB and a 1st time starter...

I do think the game will may be closer than I would like to see. Just hope not for over half the 3rd Qtr, when the Saints D/ST steps up and creates a turnover or a stop to give the O a short field to gain a better hold on the game if it is close.

I think this may come down to stopping the RUN and hanging on to the ball.

Bills can't win unless we play badly. If we just bring our B-game, we win this game. If we bring our A-game, its a blowout.

LMAO!!!

Not to mention choked away an easy win to a seriously vulnerable Pats team.

I want this game and the Jets game BAD!

If we win them, it means we can split the rest of the games and still go 10-6.

Actually it wouldn't be a good look for us because they are games against the AFC. Unless the other 6 wins were all in the division, it wouldn't be good. Games are ranked in criticality starting with division, then conference, then out of conference. In 2006 we were the 2nd seed even though we were 10-6 because 3 of those losses were to the AFC North. It's much much worse to lose a game against the 'clowns or the kittykats than to the Jets or the Pats.

Plus where do you see 6 losses in the rest of the schedule? I see:

5-1 division minimum. Maybe we split with the 'clowns.
1-0 St. Louis.
2-1 NFC East. It'll be a tough game against the Giants.
2-0 Patriots/Miami. Honestly we have the better offense and defense than both.
4-0 Start. We can hope that works out.

I'm drinking the Koolaid. But I honestly cannot see 6 losses in the 12 games after the Jets.

After we put up a couple of tds I doubt fred jackson will be much of a factor. Not saying buffalo isn't a good team but this match-up does not bode well for them.
