Saints are 6.5 points favorites against Jets.
 

So far .... kind of a big spread ..... on the Jets forum they are all worried about covering all of the saints weapons. They think their CB Revis can shut down Colston. They have won by double digits all year. Is there any reason for this trend to not continue against the Jets and their rookie QB?

Saints only play 4 teams with winning records.

Jets, NYG, Atlanta and Patriots.
You might be able to add Dallas to that if they beat Carolina.

I was only off by half a point. At home with our offense and newly found defense, it's going to be an arse whoopin'!!!

Key to this game is to stop Leon Washington from making big plays on special teams... and I think we take them easily.

The Jets have on of the best defenses in the league.

The line won't be a factor. The Saints will cover or lose. My vote goes to the cover. Although, I will just watch. Not gamble and watch. LOL.

we wont be favorites by the end of the week.....the media will get ahold of this and the jets will be the countries favorites(at least the medias favorite)

I think we win, but it will be 3-4 points.

This may be one of our hardest tests of the year.

.. could be a series of factors..

The Jets are 3-0, but other than the first game, their last 2 victories have been by 7 points at home , whereas the Saints have won by at least 20 each week, including 2 wins on the road.

The Jets did beat the Pats at home, but the Pats have a rebuilding defense, a suspect running game, a Tom Brady who's not yet Tom Brady, and had no Welker for that game.

The Titans, with Kerry Collins at QB, put 17 points on their defense at home.

The most points the Jets have scored is 24. The least points the Saints have scored is 27
Now, the Saints on the other hand, have gone on the road and humiliated Philly's defense at home, and ran all over a Bills defense that was regarded good against the run (maybe undeserverly so, but still)

.. and there's no wind factor in the Dome.

.. so I can see where the 6.5 comes from.
