I thought you might enjoy this interesting story from this past weekend:

The night before and day of the Buffalo game, if you would've seen Pierre Thomas face-to-face, you would've thought he was on his deathbed. The guy couldn't even come out for pre-game warm-ups because he was so sick. Instead he was laid out in the training room underneath the stadium with 2 bags of IV and was tossing and turning with some weird moaning sounds. That being said, the man came out the second half and played an inspiring half of the game. And in my opinion sealed the game for the Saints! What an inspirational performance.

I listened to the spot tonite. It was actually pretty good. Pt had been sick from food poisioning earlier in the week and then had a relapse sat. night and was throwing up all night. Thank goodness he was able to get past it by halftime. One thing he did say tonite that was interesting was that after looking at the film, he thought he moved a bit slow. Hmmm, makes ya wonder how much better he might be this week without being ill. Also he also mentioned that he only wore the brace as a just in case measure and that his knee feels great.

That was something to hear, that he was that sick and still played great. The Saints are deep at RB and the O-line is run blocking as well as pass blocking.
