Once again, getting there, fairly easy. Getting back --- a royal pain in the a$$. I will never drive I-10 between N.O. & Baton Rouge back again---its a trap. You cant get off. And there is always something stupid happening. 3 times--- 3 times! We have to come to a dead stop, then brakes, then crawl then brakes.... Over 2 hours this damn stretch of road. This was 2 1/2 hours after the game. Never again.

River Parishes here I come! At least in the small towns, I can divert when necessary.

Hwy 73 from Orange to Winnie was outstanding! If you're coming from Houston, this is a great route. Same time frame as staying on 10, with zero traffic, zero stress + you go over the historic Rainbow Bridge of Port Arthur. You might lose 10 minutes going thru Bridge City, but then you could do 90 from P.A. to Winnie--- but you shouldnt, because that would be illegal. right? mmm. hmmm.

whoa, we're tired. All good, monday is recovery day.
