Which Team Has the Greatest Chance of Beating Us?
 

No NYG, Atlanta or Pats on this poll. We all know those games are going to be dog fights.

I know all of us think that none of these teams are going to beat us. Lets have a meaningful conversation about what's the strengths and weaknesses of these clubs and how we match up.

Carolina isn't nearly as bad as they are perceived. It will be a dogfight at their house.

I would say Panthers but now I just don't see us being burn by Steve Smith anymore!

RFK stadium in December and Carolina when we've already clinched a playoff spot.

I voted for Carolina, for all the same reasons given above - but to be honest, the QB play on all of these teams is very vulnerable to our style of defense. Assuming we keep playing D the way we have been, none of these teams have much of a chance to beat us.

I voted Dallas. Their main problem is consistency. They are loaded with talented players and if they put it all together for an entire game, they can destroy anyone.

Its doubtful they can put their A-game on us for a full 60 minutes, but moreso than any of the others listed.

Panthers. They have had our number since 2006. We'll probably split with them.

If we let up at all, Dallas and the Redskins could beat us too. They're not as bad as their records.

Well, depending on the situation: if everything is set playoff-wise come the last game of the season, the Carolina will probably win that game. But if the game counts for anything playoffs, I doubt it.

I would have to say, all things considered, it would have to be Dallas who has the better chance of beating the Saints, because they seem to have the better talent when you compare them to the other teams in poll player by player.

I voted Washington. I think we sweep the kitties this year. I think the Skins will be like when we lost to the Rams. Plus it will probably be terrible weather at that time. I think we take care of Jake and co. this year. We have it out for those fags this year. I think the team will play them very well, especially since Jake is playing horrible this year.

I voted for Dallas, but everybody should know by now that just when you think you've got evil figured out...it changes form. Or, in other words...just when you think you know who the bad guys are...they become someone else.

Colts or Patriots--but in the regular season, Panthers. They will turn it around this weekend against the Redskins.

My answer isn't on the list:

The New Orleans Saints

When the 2009 Saints bring their A game, they are favored against any team in the NFL, including the Giants and Pats.

As I see it, injuries, turnovers, lack of pass rush, blown assignments, missed tackles, and dropping the ball on both sides of the ball are the bugaboo of a team that loses games. So far the Saints have not done any of these to a significant degree and have made far more positive plays than negative ones.

But if in a game you get a collection of these? Well then all bets are off.

The Saints have had great games. They have had dominating games. They have had methodical games.

The question is what happens if or when a bad gamer occurs?
