Hey, I'm already working on my post-game escape route, as we ran into all kinds of constructions in the CBD after the Jets game.

Those of you coming in from the west, check my "Saints Gameday March Down I-10" thread, and I'll put in any construction I see from our sources.

NEW ORLEANS locals: If you happen to work in the CBD, or just go there often, and you know of roadwork going on, please let us know. I can tell you Camp St. (from Ponchtr Expwy)NB was screwed, as was Magazine St. SB (toward Ponchtr. Expwy)

I'll share my escape route with anyone who wants it.

Anyone got any good secret parking spots? I park on Poydras, but its too much, esp. when you gotta walk 8 blocks.

Where's a good place to eat near the Dome, after the game, if you're walking back toward the River. Somewhere reasonable?

St. Charles Ave. and near offstreets Clog

St. Charles Ave., which isn't a good escape route to start with, is having whole parts resurfaced.

It's going to cause more backups the entire season on other back streets.

If you get off the beaten path to off streets, and are heading west ward (toward Metairie or Houston for that matter) do not get back on St. Charles later down the line. Closer to the Riverbend it's down to one lane on either side and we see traffic jams on Tuesday at 11am with diverted traffic.

That's total BS! I've travelled all of South Louisiana a 10000 times, into the smallest towns and nowhere places, and I've seen some of the HOTTEST women ever in Lafayette. Although they have their uglies, everywhere has some uglies.:p

Yeah they got some beauties in Lafayette. And they like sitting around watching Saints games as well!

Only problem is some of dem cajun womans like to still act French and leave a little underarm bush hangin around. :mrgreen:

I worked in a radio station in NWLA, back in my minor league days, Many, La. and also girls from Zwolle would come in. Man, there was something in
the water in Sabine Parish. Those girls were all hot--- every one of them. Old, young, I dont know what they were raising them on, but we had a window between my studio and the cable tv company we shared the building with, and it STAYED distracted.
