Me and my Saints cap
 

Man i survived a bad wreck today...guy ran a redlight and clipped my new truck and caused me to roll thru a field of mud...im ok but my truck..is total wreck..but u know what ..when i got out of the wreckage the first thing i did was look for my Saints hat...it was covered in mud and bent..i brushed it off and put it back on...That little Ford Ranger saved my life today..and my hat is still on my head...im a lucky man..now to get some more wheels..

Grr! Crazy people trying to beat a red light. Your truck in really thrashed. It is awesome to hear that you walked away from this one in one piece. Saints hats have mysterious powers... I have worn my hat on two occasions that could of put me six feet under. The hat has literally saved my life... I hope your back behind the wheel soon. Again, it is great to hear that you are ok.

Was it ok? I mean, there wasn't any damage to it was there?! Something tells me that if you came out of a coma your first words would be 'Where's my hat?'
Doctor: 'Good afternoon sir. I'm glad you're out of your coma. You're a lucky man'
Strato: 'Where's my hat?'
Doctor: 'Sir, do you not understand? You were involved in a major crash a week ago and have just come out of a coma'
Strato: I had a hat with me. Where is it?'
Doctor: Look, Mr. Strato. It's hard for me...I mean it's not going to be easy...'
Strato: 'JUST TELL ME ABOUT MY HAT!!'
IN WALKS THE SURGEON, THROWING A NEEDLE AND THREAD INTO A NEARBY BIN. HE SHAKES HIS HEAD AT THE DOCTOR...
Doctor: 'Ok, but please understand we did everything we could'
Strato: 'I can take it Doc'
Doctor: 'It looked ok at first but then we found that the peak was damaged. Beyond repair.'
Strato: 'Surely you don't mean...'
Doctor: 'Yes. Your hat will have a permanent flop to it. it can no longer be rigid. Peak like if you will'
Strato: 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...!!!!!

Sorry about that. All joking aside, glad you walked away from it. Can't be man down before Sunday.

Glad your ok man. I have an Ol'Saints hat with the throwback logo. It's been through hell and I still wear it on date night. WHO-DAT!

Man, I am SO glad you walked away from that! Strato, I will say you have a nice sense of humor too. I mean screw the stupid truck, you are walking and talking!!! Go back to the Ford dealer on Monday and get a new ride. Thank goodness you are doing so good that you were able to joke about your Saints cap!

glad you're ok, man.

unfortunately, i lost my saints hat in a wreck back in july. it was a black flex-fit saints hat w/ interlocking N.O. initials and a little fleur da lis to the right of the initials and the nfl logo on the back. i would wear that hat everywhere because it was a subtle sports hat, it wasn't like a loud crazy hat you can only wear on gameday.

i wish it would've been as magical as some of ya'll hats because that thing certainly didnt keep me out of jail tha night!

I have a lucky Saints cap that my buddy gave me when I had cancer.(same year as Katrina...we're better now) It really is a good luck cap, I started wearing it on Sundays this year.
