Saints LB Fujita hurts leg
The Associated Press NEW ORLEANS - Saints linebacker Scott Fujita went to the sideline with a left leg injury late in the first quarter of New Orleans' game against the New York Giants on Sunday. Saints officials called Fujita's condition a lower left leg injury and said his return was questionable. Fujita did not go to the locker room, but remained on the bench when the Saints' defense returned to the field early in the second quarter. Saints LB Fujita hurts leg | AP | 10/18/2009 |
Re: Saints LB Fujita hurts leg
Not good, hopefully he is OK. I did not like seeing that ice pack wrapped around his leg. An injury at LB, could that possibly mean Derrick Brooks is back on the radar??? Heck, the Saints do have a kicker and a 3rd string QB to cut, so who knows...

I hope not. We need him. Props to Evans and Mitchell though on their fill in contributions.

Any official news on the injury?

Re: Saints LB Fujita hurts leg
Evans is a special teamer at best. He was not good yesterday. I would like to see an athletic guy like Dunbar or Casillas get a shot.

Re: Saints LB Fujita hurts leg
damn impressed with the fill-ins. Would have expected the offense to exploit Fujita's absence, and it never happened. Sitting in the Dome yesterday, we had no way to know what happened to SF.
