Giants just that bad....yeah right..

You gotta love Skip Bayless. I don't know if any of you watched 1st and 10 yesterday, but the question was, are the Saints really that good, or did the Giants just play that bad. Skip of course said that the Giants are just that bad, and that the Saints didn't beat them, as much as, "they lost the game".

I for one, am tired of seeing this analogy, in any form, any where. Let's think about this for a second. If a team WINS a game, then obviously, the other team LOST. This is just a fact. We beat the Giants down, in every aspect of the game, with the exception of special teams, who didn't too that bad, but were definately the weakest link in my opinion.

I have got to stop letting witless wonders like Bayless, get to me. He's obviously a complete moron, so why should I care. I guess it's just that observation, and the idiocy of it.

Look at the source, Skip is a major tool bag, yeah I know they are force feed their opinions but in real life he is a jerk so I'm not surprised one bit. Doesn't he have a hard on for Eli and the Giants anyways?

I agree. Bayless is a douche. Apparently, he is the only person in the media that didn't watch the game. As for the rest of the media that gave the Saints no respect until they hammered the Giants, THE BANDWAGON IS FULL....GET OFF!

I don't think many people take him seriouslyanymore, or at least they shouldn't. He plays almost a comic relief role, minus the humor. Whether by design or accident, he's almost become a novelty item on ESPN. There are times when I think he takes an antagonist approach just for shock value and for the sake of not agreeing with someone because occasionally he gets this look on his face that indicates to me that even he himself don't really believe what he's saying.

I don't pay much attention to what anyone says once the game is over enjoy the win and Monday start looking at our next game. All than any of these clowns have to say is purely for a paycheck. I don't even think they believe half the stuff they say themselves.

Can one of us replace him on the show? FF, you could give him a run for his money!

Skip is not an idiot. He gets paid VERY WELL to play A ROLE. And he plays it well. The Saints are very good. They have more weapons than New York. They took away the Giants pass rush, which is their strength on defense, and Brees and Co. dominated an injury riddled secondary. The Saints defense made some plays. Something that has been lacking in recent years. If the Saints stay healthy, they will compete for the title. Simple.

We did beat the Giants outright. Yes, Eli and his receivers made critical errors. Most was caused by our pressure and some were unforced...but that's what football is about. The ball just seemed to bounce our way more often than not. BUT as we've always said of past Saints' teams; Good teams find a way to win and this team finds a way to beat teams.

Skip neglected to mention how utterly frustrated the Giants defense was all day long. I was at the game. DE's were yelling at DT's, LB's were pointing at DE's and CB's and Safeties were yelling and pointing at each other and then yelling back at the LB's and everyone was shouting and just SO DAMNED CONFUSED AND FRUSTRATED... Yep, that was a beat-down.

Now wait a minute... the Giants were that bad. Let it sink in for a moment. The reason they were bad was that they were outmatched on both offense and defense. Plain and simple. Only one team showed up to play last week, and man oh man they played well. Williams defense Made Eli look like a school boy, and the offense had the defense utterly confused. This is what happens when our team is prepared. I believe that Payton will have this team prepared to play week in and week out.

Its the question, that bothers me the most. " Did the Saints win the game, or did the Giants just lose it?" i have heard this question alot, when two good teams play each other, and honestly, to me, it makes NO sense whatsoever. If the saints won, then obviously, the giants lost. the giants knew how big this game was, and they came to play. i dont see coughlin as the kind of coach, that would let them forget it. I wonder if the score had been 20 to 17, if they would be asking this question.

Take it from me mass media, THE SAINTS ARE JUST GOOD! Nuff said.

Skip Bayless is like the Simon Cowell of ESPN - only not as smart.
