Brees Talks About Matchup with Dolphins

Miami's biggest mistake was not taking Drew Brees. We had two chances. I was jumping up and down wanting the Fins to draft him, but we drafted someone we let go in a few years. Then in free agency the doctors said that there was no guarantee that his arm will ever heal to where he can be successful in the NFL. He had a torn rotator cuff ... I was in agreement with the doctors after that.

I am glad he's worked out for you. He's given you all something to be excited about on Sundays. I was every year we had Dan Marino. Hopefully the Dolphins have something like that in Chad Henne. Only time will tell.

Will he come into Miami with a chip on his shoulder? Definitely. I think we were the team to injure his throwing shoulder in teh first place.
