Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
This is why I love flying under the radar. Well, now that 6-0 has put them under the microscope, let's see how the team handles it...
Crush the dirty-birds!! |
Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
What peeved me off even worse was when Schlereth went off about Reggie's lack of effort and a bunch of other crap. Did this guy see the 6 yard leap for the TD? Don't talk to me about lack of effort.
These guys are just getting to be too much. Guess Favre 24/7 wasn't getting the ratings they had hoped for. |
Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
The Cowboys suck yet again this year so they have to talk about something else. Schlereth and Hodge love to bash Bush every chance they get. I'd like to see any other running back in the league right now leap from the six and still make it into the endzone in full pads. Yeah we get it you hate Reggie but give the guy his due when he shows a glimpse of his potential.

Reggie really didn't say anything wrong. It was a leading question. But any answer that looks ahead is problematic because of its predictive nature. Actually Reggie did a pretty good job. Toed the company line "one game at a time", gave props to the organization "Great team, great coaches, great QB, heart and determination". The finish should have simply to state what has already happened: Quote:
It'll blow over hopefully. I'm sure the 'clowns will post it on their bulletin board. SFIAH |
Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
Making a prediction, to me, is making a comment unprompted. Answering a question should not be confused with making a prediction, IMO...and furthermore, I personally am proud of the answer Reggie gave.

Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
I just took a look at the NFL live segment. Reggie is absolutely right. He got jobbed.
1) As he pointed out in his tweet, they only cut in the last segment of the answer. 2) Payton's interview was Monday. But the producer made it look like Payton was answer the question in response to Reggie's interview when it wasn't the case. It's clear and Schereth even pointed out that they jobbed him because he didn't keep his mouth shut. I DVR NFL Live every day. This is typical. SFIAH |

Look back to the Minnesota game last year: Right now he should make it his life's mission to accomplish that every game. Reggie is overhyped, and his mouth is trying to keep the hype machine going. That's why they are jobbing him on NFL Live. SFIAH |
Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
^^^ Couldn't agree more SFIAH. Reggie should have AVOIDED the trap and said. "You know, it's one game at a time for me." Instead he falls for the trap, gets jobbed, and it makes it worse he is the most inconsistent yet highest paid guy on the team, except for maybe Brees's salary.
I'd give back the 6-yard leap for some consistent play making. i.e. PT, Brees, Moore |
Re: Reggie's Undefeated Prediction
I've always admired the Ravens for their kick a** attitudes. So I'm glad to see the Saints players starting to show their confidence. I wish Reggie would have said "hell yeah we are winning them all!". :notworthy::-D
I also like the Brees quote "we knew we were going to win this game" (or something similar). I have read a few Dolphins fans reaction to that quote and they took it as an insult. But oh well. |

Drew's not being cocky it just sounds like he is being confident in his abilities. I love that quote, it shows that they won't fold up the tents when things get rough during the season |
