ESPN messed up the Fleur-de-Lis
 

...you got to be kidding me.

If you were watching on TV, the opening sequence when the 2 helmets fly out of the stage and travel through space all the way to the stadium and then collide midair, the Saints helmet had a Fleur-de-Lis that was gold in the center and had no white.

Yeah, I saw it too. What a bunch of dimwits, although, the opening for the game was dramatic and sent chills down my spine. Other than the messed up Fleur-de-Leis, it really got me pumped up.

Yeah, i said to my wife, "what color is that helmet" She said "gold", then I realized it was the Fleur that was the wrong color and making it look wrong.

Bet the didn't make the horns the wrong color on Favre's helmet, or the star wrong on Jerry's helmet.

No respect .... what you surprised that ESPN screwed something up. If it ain't about Farve or the Cowboys they are sure to mess something up. God I'm loving this .... there is no where they can ignore the Saints now

That way ESPN would just go away or at least get back to what brought them to the dance in the first place (sports journalism and fact checking)

I noticed that too. I think it looked kind of cool, but not saying it's better than the black fleur.
