Busrod's greatest test.

Bushrod is gonna have a big challenge ahead of him. Julius pepper is a beast and we need to contain him on this on.. i hope bushrod will be ready and i hope he will be to take on one of his greatest tests. he did a good job with tuck and umenyiora but im sure he will do good.. im just hoping he's physically and mentally ready for this game..

Re: Busrod's greatest test.

If you look up and own our schedule, he's already faced plenty of elite talent on the Julius Peppers level. We need to just do what we've been doing... chipping with TE's and giving him extra help. I was more worried with Abraham than I am with Peppers.

abraham is more of a finesse type pass rusher. julius peppers is more complete as to abraham and the other pass rushers we faced. thats just in my opinion. but good point though.

How about the Eagles' DEs or the Giants' DEs?
Abraham is a "finesse" pass rusher???

And Peppers is not all that. He usually disappears in games and once in a while comes up with a freakishly athletic play, then everyone says "he's a beast". Tuck and Omenyora are much better DEs than Peppers.

Brees' quick release/quick read burns Peppers and we make Tabasco Sauce out of him.

Bushrod has definitely had his ups and downs this year, but he is a guy that seems to be learning and should have a very bright future. My guess is if continues to progress it's going to be a very interesting decision on what to do with Brown next year.

Brown? Who's he? No, really I think it's going to be a tough decision next year. Training camp will sort it out.

Bushrod played a heck of a game. Our whole o-line did for that matter.

Re: Busrod's greatest test.

Bushrod has handled some really good pass rushers so far...he's had some help from the TE and RB on pass protection, but overall...SOLD! This guy is gonna be solid, as he is already. He's not dominate, but he fits the offense so well. Plus, our rushing is so much better than last year, and you can make the argument that Nicks has something to do with that as well. Our best runs today were Bushrod's way...I love our OL play! That's how you win, baby! Now, let's get Ellis back and have Pressley step up and dominate the DL side.

all for that brother! and damn okinawa!?!? the food there is bomb..

Re: Busrod's greatest test.

The food? Lights out! It's ALL good over here, my man. Saints keep on winning and I keep on being happy. I was kinda worried about Brown going down, but that preseason game against HOU gave me a great feeling about Bushrod. We may have found a guy that protects Brees (adequately at best) and helps out in the rushing. It's amazing that Payton and the FO stuck with Bushrod for so long...WHAT A FIND! He's not gonna be a Pro Bowler, but he fits the offense...that's all that matters. Thanks for the shout out! Protecting on the Pacific rim from Kim-Jong-what's his face...

Peppers didn't get any sacks. I think Bushrod is a great replacement for he hurt Brown.
