... this is amazing.

Ok, let's recap:

Key starters injured: Moore, Evans, Brown, Clancy, Ellis, Fujita.
Last 3 games: 10 turnovers, 3 of then inside their 20, down by at least 14 the first half.

...and still undefeated, the smallest margin of victory being 10 points.

I don't know what else to say... this is amazing.

Re: ... this is amazing.

.. and let me add:

for the past month teams are throwing their best at the Saints, and end up losing.

The Giants' "best pass rush in the NFL", the Dolphins' wildcat, the vaunted Atlanta and Carolina running games... and still...

... I just hope for my heart's sake next week they just dominate the Rams.

We cannot afford to lose anyone else. I'd like a nice dominant win versus St. Louis with a healthy day for everyone.

I'm with you: 43-17 (with the 17 at garbage time...and not at the front). A good, solid, put them away early win would do me a world of good.

Amazing? Maybe to us, but I think this team knows exactly where they stand and Payton's been building it for the past three years.

Talent
Leadership
Depth
Culture

Great teams FIND A WAY to win.

Did anyone else notice that Houston took Indy down to the wire?

It IS amazing with those out of game injuries. When you combine the nicks of the other players, this team is playing much beyond expectations.

Does that mean the Saints keep their #1 power ranking? :)

Or just that the top teams don't always annihilate every opponent. Especially division rivals.. ;)

You may have noticed that I'm into suck up bimbos. Velma would do in a pinch though.

I like Judy Jetson too.

I know exactly how you feel. I think we all got spoiled to the wide margins of victory the first five games of the season. The last three games have been very stressful to watch. However, it has shown this teams intestinal fortitude to come from behind in each game. It doesn't make it any easier on the hearts of fans, but it does make for exciting games.

These games where we fall behind is going to cause me to break something. I sent my kids to the backyard so I could jump up and down and curse like there was no tomorrow after Drew's INT in the first half.
