Next up...STL
OK...STL's record is not impressive. However, I've watched STL play a few games this season, and they really don't have that bad of a rushing defense. They still have S Jackson as their RB, and that seems to give the Saints fits. If they can control the clock on offense, they might keep this one close. Considering we came from a very big emotional win, can we bounce back and beat a beatable team? I'm all about rolling them by 35, because I consider this STL Ram team a hold-over from the old LA Rams when we were in our division. Beat the life out of this team that actually had Haslett as their head coach for a while...oh my Lord, beat their a__! Who's with me?

Re: Next up...STL
I don't think this Saints team will take anyone for granted.

AND...the last time we played the Rams, we gave them their first win of the season. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall them being 0-7 when they beat us last??

Re: Next up...STL

Breakout game for our DE's

Re: Next up...STL
I dont take any team lightly but we are going to smash these dudes. The Rams, Stephen Jackson or not, will not be able to keep up with us. Drew will have plenty of time in the pocket and we will destroy their secondary.

For years I hated the Rams (49ers too) but feared the Greatest Show on Turf. I miss playing those guys cause it was a real nail biter.
Good thing we are the Greatest Show on Turf Now!! Bury the Rams for old time sake. |
Re: Next up...STL
I'm with Turbo...show me 50!
Turn off the lights on STL and stump a mudd hole in Tampa Bay's Buc. |
Re: Next up...STL
Steven Jackson will be another test on our run D. They have some playmakers but bottom line is they are a rebuilding team with marginal overall talent and I think they are in "work on concepts" mode to be better down the road.
If we focus on the task at hand we dominate them. We have to stop this early deficit stuff and be the score first team again. |
Re: Next up...STL
The Rams are going to have to run the ball, because they sure aren't going to get much out of the passing game with that group of receivers. The Saints O-line is going to bully their D-line and give Brees all day to throw. Brees is going to pick the Rams secondary apart. Breesus Christ and his disciples are going to sacrifice the Rams this Sunday. It will be a blowout of Biblical proportions.

Re: Next up...STL
Teams like the Rams and Bucks are frustrated and starving. This can spell trouble and Payton has said the Saints are tittering on self destruct if they do not stop making so many mistakes. That being said this Rams team could be just the right recipe to right the ship before the damn Bucks. Saints 35 Rams 17

Re: Next up...STL
Historically, this would be the game the Saints would lose. This is not the same team, though.
|
Re: Next up...STL
I really do not see us losing, but anything is possible.
Saints 55-9 |
Re: Next up...STL
Saints 52
Rams 10 Saints score early and often, run D gets their confidence back and one of the DBs will get another pick 6 |
Re: Next up...STL
If we start out like the last two weeks it could be another nail biter.
