It\'s not that I disagree with you that we should have gone after one of more of the big name players on defense. I just think everyone is quick to assume that the players that we did add on the defense, like: Tebucky Jones, Derrick Rodgers, Orlado Ruff, Ashley Ambrose, Cie Grant, and Johnathan Sullivan aren\'t going to be able to get the job done. It just seems to me that everyone has completely written off those players and the defense based off of a few meaningless preseason games. I\'m going to say this again -- I HAVE NEVER SEEN PRESEASON GAMES MAKE A GREAT PLAYER OR A BAD PLAYER.

Our needs on defense were not simple IMO -- According to most we needed 2 shutdown corners. Two linebackers. One defensive tackle and a safety. How many of those big name free agents were we going to sign.
