What should we be considering just in case.
 
ok well clancy is in IR and sed is not back yet and fujita is not as well, we may have two easy teams our next two games but i still think taht we should get some free agents available just in case these teams are the underdogs and somehow become a challenge for us. now i know we brought in presseley but i still think we should put hartley back to the prac. squad and find another space eating DT that complements our pass rushing DT. its obvious that our saints did struggle quite a bit on the run and the missed tackles. but.. what do you think about acquiring brooks? our another DT? who do oyu have in mind?

They worked a few DLinemen out recently. I think we have a lot of guys that can fill in for Fujita that are probably all serviceable. So cutting Hartley or Carney and making room for a DT/DE would make the most sense, IMO.

totally agree. i think carney at this point still should start however he did miss some of those kicks but not all of them are his fault.

We're probably just looking at emergency options in case we suffer another injury before Ellis gets back.

At first I did also but apparently there are at least 4 NFL teams that seem to think Brooks can't play anymore after workouts.
