My brother in law (a Broncos fan) is giving me grief cause I'm excited about the Saints being 8-0. He says, "Win a Superbowl and get back to me" Really?!!!!!! Then he says, "You Saints fans act like you've already won the Superbowl".....REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!??????

I assure you, and I think I can at least speak for us long time Saints fans, we aren't counting chickens just yet. No, we are counting the wins that we have already accumulated.

Since when was it a rule that the only time you can talk trash and be excited is only if your team has won a Superbowl. It's a great accomplishment and warrants a bit of cockiness on their part, but really......LET US BE EXCITED AND KEEP YOUR PIE HOLE SHUT!!!! Should we just sit quietly on our hands and make the "keep my mouth zipped" sign just cause we don't have that trophy? No, we'll continue to be excited and scream at the top of our lungs that we are accomplishing something that no Saints team has ever done and most teams in the league would love to do. I'm just going to go ahead and not dwell on what we haven't done and be cautiously optimistic about what we can do.

These other fans are just making up rules as they go cause they are simply envious of our possibilities cause they are remembering their glory days of the past and we have them right here in front of us.

If we were living in the past paranoia would be running rampant across this board. I count our blessings every day for the board being so upbeat beacuse of what we have accomplished this season!

Yep, and remind your B-in L that nearly every Bronco's fan was screaming for Josh Mac Daniels head over this past off-season. The utter hatred for him for messing up the Jake Cuttler situation, at the ownership for firing Mike Shannihan, and for making their team into a doormat. As it turns out Josh knew wht he was doing after all and now all the fans are on his bandwagon. So they are off to a good start, but have lost 2 straight, gotta wonder if they are going on a losing streak like the Giants have.
And in the what have you done for me lately department, it ain't much. They haven't been to the playoffs in at least 3 years, and haven't been a contender for more than that. We'll see where they are in 3 or 4 weeks. It may not be 1st place. SD is beginning to come on strong.

This Saints team is not the same 'ol Saints. In no way shape or form do I believe this years team is guaranteed to win anything. They have enough talent. So far they've beat every opponent they've faced. Do I believe they CAN get to and win the Super Bowl? Absofreakinloutely. WHO DAT!

After living in that part of the country for their superbowl years I will always hate the bronco's, not falcon hate but they are on my list of teams I like to see loose

I am glad some of yall think we have enough talent. I never think we have enough. I think a lot of what we have is role players that fit out system. I don't see Lance Moore going off to another team being as productive has he as been nor others. Its our system that allows them to do this and the confidence of others around them to make this all happen.

We also haven't make that crazy change over in personel from say last year to this one. The only real biggest change is at DC. Gibbs were still here we'd still suck.

Now that's some funny sheet right there...and so true. I went to one of the first games that Walsh played in the dome, and for true...when he threw a 10 yard sideline route the ball had a rainbow in it. I was like, "Uh-oh...we are in serious trouble now."...and we gave up so much to get him.

Fourcade was no all-pro but he was a far superior athlete to Walsh, IMO.
