Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
with Porter out for awhile we're eventually going to see this starting foursome.
I mean can you imagine ANY QB looking down the field at that?? Seriously It's like the four horseman of doom all under the control of the Anti-Christ to offenses, GW. It's a good thing we have Breesus on the other side of the ball so save us fan from praising all that evil too much. In all seriousness, those 4 won't need any LB help which frees our LBs to foucs on the run and TEs. Now, factor Ellis back into the mix... |

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
We can only guess what McAllister has left in the tank. Supposely Ty Law is performing well after being picked up mid season by the Broncos as their nickel back... if we can get similar production from him, I'd be more than satisfied. I won't put my hopes up that high... just yet at least.

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
Well we are playing a rookie QB. So I would guess that he may not see our secondary much. Hopefully more of Will Smith and Charles Grant.

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
McAlister has the potential to be very good for the Saints if he comes into camp fit. He's been quite good in the past and was cut for cap space so he may still have a lot to offer. If everyone is on the same page this should be a very good group, hopefully when Porter comes back he'll be able to contribute and get right back on the field.

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
I like this setup. The Holy Season starring Breesus and the Apostles (the Offense) continues, but with the help of (insert clever and demonic/evil name for defense here). The power of Payton compels you!

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
I think MJ is going to be a good corner for us, but McAlister was needed. I think it will be a couple weeks before we see him in the lineup over Gay, but he will do more than enough to supplent TP while he's out.

Sooooo I'm okay? I do tend to get carried away sometimes. I'm just excited to see our Saints on a roll.

If he pans out I like the mix. Sharper, Harper, McAlister, Greer, Porter, Young, Jenkins. That is tight!

Scott, Dasidreidia's post was not opinion. It was a mocking comparison to deity. And Dasidreidia, I see these comments and avatars as extremely offensive. Think of it in terms like making fun of or light of someones race. (Don't drill me on that. I know that they're not the same issue.) Euphoria said: Quote:

WOW... how can talking about something we all love turn into this??? first off you need to lighten up dude...if you take offense that easily maybe you need to find another hobby...secondly in case no one else read the posting guidlines here...you have no 1st ammendment right on a privately owned site.....why can't we just enjoy the season our team is having and cut out all the B.S.??? |

Back to the original subject anyone? |
Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
Sounds Great to me...anyway ...I can't wait to see that combo in the defensive backfield...if mccallister has anything left and plays anywhere close to where he did...he will be a beast

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
Hey guys,
This thread has gone way off topic. Please refrain from any discussions that don't center around the combination of Greer, McAlister, Sharper or Harper in our backfield. If anyone feels remarks on this thread are offensive, please go through the proper channels of reporting it to us, rather than attacking another user. |
Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
All right everyone. Let's get back on topic. Don't want to have to shut down a good thread....

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
McAlister comes in, he and Sharper get buddy-buddy, domination ensues.

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
Ok keep it to the topic

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
About the "breesus" thing.... It's been going around the net for awhile. Im surprised it took this long to get here bc I had seen it even before the season started. It was offensive to some. Not to others. Those that were offended have agreed to try to avoid commenting on it and letting us mods n admins sort it out. That's all that I will comment on it an I ask that you move on from it as well.
Thnx. Pak |

Re: Let's Talk Greer, McAlister, Sharper, Harper
I love what I've seen from Jenkins in the last 2 weeks, so I think the starting lineup next week against the Pats will be Greer, Jenkins, Sharper, and Harper. I think Gay will play nickle, unless his injury today was serious, and McAlister will play dime, unless McAlister looks very impressive in practice. He would have to look substantially better than Gay, because Gay knows the defense better, and that allows GW to use him more flexibly. Calls for McAlister will be more limited. McAlister will probably only be comfortable with a few plays, so he'll mostly be locked in man-to-man.
