If your stupid enough not to think obesity is bad, you got way more problems than just an obese kid.

And spending taxpayer dollars on stupid people and stupid campaigns telling people that fat is bad is not the way to reduce taxes and the deficit.

Whats next, a multi-million dollar campaign telling folks don't run out in front of moving busses?

The way to shrink the deficit is to "ELIMINATE BIG GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS"

I'm not ever going to suggest that I'm an expert, though I do know more than most on economic policy, healthcare policy and tax policy, but Americans actually DO need to be told that obesity is bad, because nearly 30% of our population is, by recognized guidelines, obese. The NFL requires people to be inactive in order to participate in their entertainmnet. It is doubly harmful in that most games are produced during peak exercise time for children - on weekends, during the day, in the fall when the weather for outdoor exercise is at its optimum.

As an economist, we never forget the axiom that people are generally stupid and forgetful. Danno, double down on that.

If by liberal, you mean conscious of the greater good, like Jefferson, Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt (Teddy and Frank) and Eisenhower, then I accept your epithet, spat out as it was. I'm sure you will use that term to berate Mr. Brees for participating in such a wasteful and self-promoting program with the leader of the free world.

Drew gets to be in a commercial with the President of the United States. Let me say that again. The President of the United States. And it's for a good cause. Let's not forget that NFL Play 60 and Keep Gym in School are already in place. This is merely an extension of the NFL's already established program. Regardless of your opinion of Obama, you have to respect this venture.
