Will Saints be first to clinch?
 

Wondering if we will be the first to clinch. 6 Games to go and we lead the divvy by 5 games. We could cinch in the next 2 weeks, quite possibly

Any thoughts?

Possibly the first team to wrap up their division.

I'm more excited about getting Ellis, Porter and Greer back and in game shape for the playoffs.

Getting health is beyond important, but that is not in anyone's control. Who is talking playoff's? I said clinch the division.

Sorry, but this is not premature. We are possibly 1-2 weeks away from cinching- it is a perfectly legitimate topic, and is very important.

Further-I am enjoying the ride. I am not going to sit here and worry the whole season long. This is an important first step, and it is exciting. How do you talk about getting healthy.

How many different ways can I keep saying that xan? Seriously, I am worried about getting healthy, but it isn't all I am going to talk about. Enjoy the season man- it might end special

Yep, with Atlanta and Carolina now completely out it, the Saints should be able to clinch a playoff spot and a division title shortly. One win should be a lock for the playoffs, one more win and an Atlanta loss would clinch the division, or just two more wins period and it's locked.

The Saints are actually in a good position to not let down over the last part of the season. With the Vikings playing like they are, it means every week will still count for something, with home field advantage being played for.

I think next week is the only game we have to worry about. Atlanta is starting to fall apart, Dallas is starting their usual slide, Washington has no chance, we proved today that the Bucs aren't even in our league, and we can beat Carolina if we play our starters. Which we will if we're 15-0.

agreed .... I don't see us easing off the gas pedal anytime soon.....
