this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; i don't think the pats can blitz that much because their db's aren't that great. this gives brees time to pick them apart. hopefully that gets the saints a big lead early and makes the pats O one dimensional....

of course this is easier said than done! i think another key to this game is faulk. everyone knows how dangerous moss and welker are, but stopping faulk on third down is critical to ending pats drives i think.

The keys to the game from my point of view: 1) Be able to change the play at the line. The Patriots know it's going to be loud. 2) Not Moss or Welker but The TEs and Edelman. 3) Stopping Bush, i.e. the Saints running game. 4) The kicking game (on both sides) - both KOs and FGs. It should be a heck of a game. I just hope the officiating crew doesn't ruin it for us. Also - to repeat again - thanks for accepting me and my comments for the past few days. |
