Question (regarding Bush)
My question do we need Reggie Bush? Can we us the money were paying him and give it to other player or to a free agent and hlp our team. I love the way Bush is playing these year but the money were paying him and the time he play because of injury should we keep him.

re: Question (regarding Bush)
We can't get rid of Reggie. He may not get the numbers, but he comes through for us in the clutch and has a definite place on the team.
|
re: Question (regarding Bush)
He has a place, he provides a rest for Bell and PT...plus he has KK and shes tied to us
|
re: Question (regarding Bush)
Can we STOP with the Reggie discussion ... He adds value ... Plus, this topic has been BEAT TO DEATH on this board.
|
re: Question (regarding Bush)
reggie would've scored today too
|
re: Question (regarding Bush)
For the right price, he definitely has a spot on this team. Though we beat the Pats without him, he still is an intricate part of our offense. The thing with the NFL is that teams will eventually catch up to you... you can never have enough explosive weapons of offense to help stall that.

re: Question (regarding Bush)
lol.....didnt the giants say the same thing about jeremy shockey
blah blah we are better without him blah blah blah thats just stupid to say......im sorry bro.....thats just wrong.....reggie makes us better.....he just does.....we would've beaten them even worse if reggie had played |
re: Question (regarding Bush)
{ NO }... We do NOT get rid of him. YES, i agree with ya on him & his injuries, but he bring's game changing ability on every play. We played an almost flawless game against an ELITE team & have MANY weapon's, but Reggie bring's just that much more to the table, bottom line. If he had played, then they would have been double'n up on him & opened up our already wide open reciever's, lol. He bring's more to this team than many know.
Bottom line, $A!NT'z are on fire. If anyone saw the game last week at T.B., then u would be even more impressed. NO, T.B. is at the bottom of the league, but if you look at the STAT's of both these games, you WILL see that WE have been fundamentaly PERFECT... Like BREE'z said, we can get alot better & i know that SCARES every team in the league!!! Who Dat... 11-0... #1~light's out!!!:pokechop: |
re: Question (regarding Bush)
I've said it many times: I'm not a huge Reggie fan.
But, I don't think they should try to unload him. He's been playing pretty well this year, hitting more holes, less dancing around, running a little tougher than years past. He's another weapon that defenses Have to account for. Also, when Bell took that big hit early last night and was slow to get up, I was Really wishing Reggie was active for the game. You can never have too many weapons! |
Better without Bush???
In many other facets of life, this is not only a statement, but my creedo... But seriously, the last two games, we pretty much destroyed, without Reggie Bush starting. Now, just a question worthy of discussion: Do we play better as a team without Bush in the line up?
|
Re: Better without Bush???
I don't think so, and truthfully there was a game recently where neither Bell or PT were rolling, and Bush came in and had I think 75 yards on 5 or 6 carries. He had his problems earlier this year, but I think he was beginning to run better the two games before the injury
|
Re: Better without Bush???
just like the giants were better without shockey
we were 9-0 this year with reggie......we are 2-0 without him that doesnt mean we are better without him we are 11-0 without lance moore and jammal brown too does that mean we are better without them? no.....it means we played lights out and dominated a team that deserves almost all the credit it ever gets reggie would've scored against the pats and we would've had another passing TD to add to brees' total |

PAUL, I just got the "like other facets in life" joke--lol.... I dont know, man, I'm from the 80s, so this totally barren look is weird to me--- I need just a little at least-- so I feel at home. |
Re: Better without Bush???
I just want to say, that I'm NOT trying to start anything with this question, it's just a question. Maybe, just maybe, the Pats spent all week preparing for Bush in the game, only to find out he wasn't going to play, which could have gotten in their heads a little bit. Maybe...

Re: Better without Bush???
The Saints are even better with Bush is the correct answer. And that should scare the Redskins.

You know, in a few more years, this joke wont even make sense, as no one will call it that anymore. It's like "rolling up" your window, "dialing" your phone, or "cranking" something up. BOOGER ON REVENGE OF THE NERDS: "We have Bush." PERSON IN THE YEAR 2012: "What do plants have to do with a party?" |
Re: Question (regarding Bush)
Well when Reggie isn't in the game, Sean doesn't try to force Reggie as the main guy on offense but at the same time when Reggie is in the game, defenses key on him and it helps open up the field. I think this production with out Reggie is just a product of this elite team and would be even greater with him in the line up
|
Re: Question (regarding Bush)
Reggie is still incredibly useful to Sean Payton. He will most likely reduce his contract because he knows he is used correctly here and that this team is a winner. I don't think he will want to go anywhere else, he's got a good thing going in New Orleans and he knows it.
