Next up, DC

Last year we lost this game when SP turned the game over to our beat-up, tired Defense, and Jason Campbell led a 4th quarter comeback.

It was 90 degrees that day; the high on Sunday is a projected 32, not exactly "Saints weather."

Great news for our run D: Portis is still out

We have another 6 days to get healthy. I can't see risking Gay or Greer in cold weather considering how Jenkins and MM played.

Low risk sub I would like to see: inactivate Carney. This game probably won't come down to kicks. Get Hartley some playing time and let's see who our PO kicker is going to be.

In the past we would struggle in games like this, but Sunday I see another blowout.

In my opinion Gregg Williams is going to be ready for The Skins, after all he was royally raked over the coals there. The Patriots were a major victory
for his defense but with The Skins it will become personal with him.

Should we allow some of these types in public?

I was not that impressed with the Saints and cannot figure out how they are 11 & 0. If I can see the holes in this team I'm sure our coaches can and we jump on them with a win.

That's just laughable, after you loose to the Lions and Chiefs in the same year, you as a fan have absolutely no room to talk any trash at all about your team.

As for the game, Sean has learned from last years mistakes and will run Bell down their throats after the Saints go up by 21 points in the second half. After they defeat the Skins and the Falclowns loose to the Eagles, the Saints are your 2009 NFC South Division Champs

WHO DAT

Really?
I don't know what this guy is smoking, but I want some!

This is probably the funniest thing I've seen all year. Well, besides Devery being ridiculously wide open last night.

Actually, I think just the win give the Saints the NFC South title. But I'm not completely sure on that.

Our "magic number" is now 1. Any Saints win or Falcons loss from here on out locks up the division for us.

yer thats rite exile, its a win at Washington OR a loss for Atlanta, just one of those will clinch the south for us

You are correct - all we need is a win or a Faclowns loss to clinch the division.

We currently have a 5 game lead with 5 games left to play. If we win next week and Atlanta also wins, we still have a 5 game lead - only then there will only be 4 games left to play. Winner winner chicken dinner.:pokechop:

I will be at this game and ready to see history made.

That's even better ... goal #1 done, onto HFA

Sorry guys,

This is the game our D gets unmasked, and our O doesn't show.

41 - 3 Saints. They may even have a shut out, and the only reason it is that close is because Payton is classier than BB.

I really hope I am wrong, but the Saints have only scored in the 20's 3 times. That's kinda like the Skins 2 times, except that where our 2 times are our season high, their 3 times are their season lows. We have never scored over 27, they have never scored under 24.

I hope we upset them, but that is exactly what it would be. My guess is that the line on the game will have to be in the 14 to 17 point range.
From their board, quite an interesting comparison.

Some of their comments cracked me up like the season can't end quick enough or gotta be on crack, there's no other way. I feel kinda sorry for them. I know it's tough to stay upbeat about a team that's consistently not very good. I've followed the Saints or a long long time and it's good to be on the winning side for a change.

Yeah or this one predicting the score. Not sure why but I laughed out loud.

Actually it's an either or proposition with clinching. The 'clowns already have 5 losses. So the best they could finish is 11-5. With 11 wins the worst the Saints could finish (just hypothetically) is 11-5. If the 'clowns ran the table and the Saints completely skidded, the Saints would end up 11-5, 1-1 against the 'clowns, 3-3 division record, 7-5 conference record. The 'clowns would end up 11-5, 1-1 against the Saints, 4-2 division record (only losses the to Saints and Panthers), 8-4 conference record.

It just reiterates what Brees said last night

Quote:

We haven't won anything yet.
But in either case the 'clowns getting a 6th loss means they cannot finish better than 10-6, so the division is lost. Same if the Saints go to 12 wins, because even running the table the 'clowns cannot finish better than 11-5.

The 'clowns and the division really isn't the target at this point. The goal now is HFA and getting healthy. Just keep winning and everything else will take care of itself.

i was a member on the board until this past week when i was banned...i think it was cuz i said i like clinton portis but nobody over there does

either way they were all down in the dumps in every thread on that site

its hilarious to watch fans that are new to losing go through the same thing we have gone through for our entire history

i tried to talk some sense into them that its going to be ok and theres no reason to jump off a bridge.....but they didnt listen

I just hope that we don't come out flat, like we did against Miami, after the last Monday night game. Short week, and a road game. I think we will win, but you gotta admit, there was alot of emotion in that game last night.
