Belichick shakes hands
It was surprising to see Belichick come over to Drew and wait a moment so that they could shake hands after the game was over. That was the classiest thing I've seen him do. He is usually cordial to opponents but mostly he's too arrogant to be friendly. With about seven minutes left in the fourth quarter he started looking less worried and somewhat humble. What do you think about Belichick coming over to shake Drew's hand Monday Night?

Respect earned.

Re: Belichick shakes hands
I wonder if he had a hidden camera in his sweatshirt.

Re: Belichick shakes hands
He's aware of his imagine as a sore loser. Probably wanted to make the gesture on national tv so people would quit talking about his cold handshakes ... & he probably had a camera in his shirt like Turbo said:)

Re: Belichick shakes hands
Probably slipped him a note that read-" Please Join our team"

Re: Belichick shakes hands
Classy move... unlike Tom Brady who snuck out yet again and avoided good sportsmanship by shaking hands with Brees.

Re: Belichick shakes hands
Am i crazy, or did Belichek kiss Brees on the cheek? Even the announcer said it was like getting a kiss from the Godfather. Anyone else know about this?

Re: Belichick shakes hands
I think Bill knows we are a good team, and had respect for how well we played. Just an opinion

Re: Belichick shakes hands
I hate Belichick. As a part-time Steeler fan, I really hate Belichick.
However, he is a love-to-hate guy, so I do respect him. If he was our coach we would love his cheating, getting the edge, whatever it takes attitude. |
Re: Belichick shakes hands
With our LONG history of records good and BAD BAD, I would only like to offer my point of view of Belichik's behavior. When a seemingly declining -or not - perrenial super power in the NFL's coach wants to shake my guys hands after the game when he may not always do it, Then I feel that we have won the respect of him. Maybe sometimes when he lost he felt tricked or that maybe he didnt lose fairly. I would like to think that Bill felt that we just had their number on Monday night, and as a man who loves the game, respected us for doing such a great job.

Re: Belichick shakes hands
He will rarely see Drew on the field unless he is coaching the AFC Pro-Bowl team.
Maybe he is less of a Douche if it is a non-division or conference opponent. Or maybe he had one too many Hurricanes at Pat-Os! |
