METAIRIE, La. -- Marques Colston was riding shotgun with his business manager Mike Harris behind the wheel last winter when Harris turned to Colston.

"I have a surprise for you," Harris told him. "We're heading to a gospel [music] awards show and you're going to present an award." Colston's face went blank as he shook his head, immediately turned off by the idea. "You know I wouldn't want to do that," he reminded Harris, in case the manager had forgotten that his quietest client's least favorite place was in the limelight. Harris said that all Colston had to do was read a few lines on stage -- it was good PR, he'd be paid well and he'd be done in five minutes. Colston still shook his head.

"If you don't call and tell them I'm not doing it, I will jump out of this car right now," Colston said, putting his hand on the door handle as the car sped down the highway. "I am not kidding. I will jump out of this car."

Thats a real good article, nice to see where our draft steal started and i always wanted to know what he meant when he pointed to the sky after a touchdown.
Always liked colston, his manner during gametime says everything, won't divert attention to himself with dances, just with his play and the results he creates!!

I love the fact that so many of our guys are humble. Not too many prima-donnas on the team!!

Yeah, even in our bad seasons you don't hear about locker room explosions and drama.

Like I've said before, the only argument you'll see between our players is the classic "You da man" argument.
