You all certainly have A LOT to be smiling about this season... starting with the 25 year extension at the Super Dome.

As a Chargers fan, I'm happy with Rivers but I'm glad Brees found himself a home and is having the success he's having! Especially for a city with the unique character that New Orleans has.

Owning the Patsies certainly made a statement. 11-0!!!

Sure thing. I've enjoyed watching Drew converting your team and wish you guys lost of luck. I've always liked the Saints... except if their opponents are the Chargers.

I've been to New Orleans a few times and been to a game during the Patrick Swilling era. I always liked fans that stick with their team through hard times and you guys deserve this!!!

You know... there's been A LOT of talk about that since 2006. That would be fun. Drew will always be one of my all time favorite Chargers.
Best part about it is that one team would walk away with their first Super Bowl title.

As a long-time Patriots fan all I have to say is go to it! Success is your for the taking. One game at a time. No individuals, just a TEAM.

I remember the early years of this decade, which included a 21 game winning streak (including playoffs) and a 19 game home winning streak (also including playoffs). I sincerely hope that you Saints fans can feel the same as PatriotsNation did in those years some day, but it will take time. Please don't take what your team is doing right now for granted.

If you continue to play like you did Monday night, no one will have a chance to defeat you, unless you make the costly mistakes. Some said on another thread that there is only 1 team that can defeat the Saints, and that's the Saints themselves. That's the same way we felt during our run.

I have no ill will against any team the defeats the Patriots the way your team did. It was a great game and we learned a lot about our relatively inexperienced secondary.

Good luck in the immediate future.

Classy post husky. We all know that this game wasn't the end all for the Patriots. They will still make noise in the AFC.

And we will consider you a Saints fan until such time as the Saints and Patriots meet again.

Thanx alot Husky for tha wonderful comment's. That meen's alot coming from a fan of no doubt & hands down the BEST team of this decade. I have all the respect in tha world for u & other fan's just like you. Im so used to folk's get'n on here yap'n about this, that or what coulda or shoulda happened. Oh & that goes for a few so called $A!NT'z fan's. I just can't stand ignorance, but ur tha comlete opposite & there need's to be far more like u & other great fan's. I myself, personaly was surprised of the out come of tha game Monday night. I really was expecting a GREAT game, a shoot out & a down to the wire finish. One thing i WILL admit, lol, I was extremely worried once i found out that both our starting CB's were not playing. I was SICK after hearing that, i just closed my eye's & shook my head after hearing that. I tried to prepare myself for the absolute worst & that being (Moss & Welker) DISMANTLING & just down right DISTROYING our secondary. So, i was completely shocked when it did'nt happen.
As for the PAT'z, it's like u said though, yall's secondary is very young, so it was a learning experience. Though, i have NO DOUBT at all that yall will be a great secondary for year's to come. There were some great play's they made & showed flashes of what they CAN do & WILL do after a lil more experience & time togther.
Yall will be ok though. Games just go that way sometimes. I have no doubt at all that yall wont bounce back & be "DOMINANT" through out the playoff's. Yall step it up every year & are better then any other team when it comes to playoff time.

I lived in San Clemente for nearly 20 years so needless to say I went to a lot of Chargers games including a few Saints games. I always wore my Saints apparell and never had anything but a great time with some of the friendliest fans in the league. I became a Charger fan (unless they were playing the Saints of course).

I had a blast when I went to a Saints game back in 92. It was a Saints/Falcons game, so that heated rivalry made it fun. When the Raiders come here, it can get down right nasty... but now that they suck so bad, not many Raiders fans show up anymore. LOL!
