yeah.. he's going with the ol' trap game thing. And it very well could be, but I don't think GW is going to be looking past the Skins, on the contrary. I'm sure he wants to stick it to the Danny and Cerrato.

These jackarses pick these long shot games all the time in hopes that once, just once, they'll be right and can hang their hat on it and look like geniuses.

It's kind of like Mel Kiper putting out 300 different mock drafts so that no matter where a guy goes, Kiper can say "I projected him here."

He was an NFL cornerback.
They are supposed to have short memories.
Obviously he does.
He forgot that to keep your job as a Head Coach you have to win games.
How did that work out for you Herm?
Now. As a talking head "analyst"....
He picks against the Saints week after week.
Gets burned worse than Jason David.......
And picks against them again.
Go and figure.

I know this is kinda off topic but anybody else cringes when Matt Millen projects the Saints to win? Every time I see him all I think of is how bad a GM he is.

After his outstanding gm job as the Lions, I just ignore what ever Millen has to say. Sad thing is he was a good analyst before he went to the Lions

A good Coach with bad teams, maybe a little envious of Coach Payton.
The Jets and Chiefs never went too far with him in the wheelhouse. I think with the Old Saints a letdown could always be in the cards. Now I'm thinking this team just keeps on playing hard and bouncing back from adversity.

Would we be talking about it if he picked the Saints? Only two teams in NFL history have gone undefeated in the regular season. The odds are against the Saints even though they will be favored in their remaining games. I would love to see the Saints go undefeated. I believe they can. But, I had rather they lose a game in the regular season and go to the Super Bowl than the alternative.

That "lose one now" ship has sailed. We are officially in the hunt for
homefield throughout. Minnesota is nipping at our heals, being
a half game back. They lost to afc, all our remaining games are
against nfc teams. We can't afford to lose now. Unless the vikings
lose another one. Which is very possible.

Absolutely agree- it isn't so much just losing that matters- it is the fact that we have to keep winning until Minny loses. I do not care if we go undefeated, but I absolutely believe that if we get HFA, we are headed to the SB

I just don't believe that who ever comes to New Orleans in the playoffs will be able to handle the talent on this team plus the crowd noise. The MNF game was just a taste of how nuts it will be come playoff time in the Dome
