... after watching MM play and seeing Bush on the sideline, I wondered if the Saints would put Bush in IR and bring in Deuce for a last hurrah.
Can you imagine the cheer? Divisional playoff game in the Dome, the announcer going "Running back, from Mississippi, #26, Deuce McAllister"...

.. grown men will surely cry.

I think its a bad idea. We kept him a season or two too long as it was.

Now if he's better than any RB we have, and worth giving up a valuable roster spot then sure, but I don't think Deuce McAllister is looking for an undeserved handout.

Can almost guarantee if any of the Saints RBs get put on IR, Deuce would probably get a call. Let's please hope it doesn't come down to that, but yes, it would be nice getting Deuce back.

Guido Merkins that's too funny, havn't heard that name in a while. As much as Deuce was the heart and soul of The Saints I think the ship has sailed for his playing days. I do think if the season stays on track there are good ways to honor players like Deuce when we hit the big dance.

Induct him to the HOF before the first playoff game. Can you imagine how loud a playoff crowd cheering for Deuce would be?

Defer and kick off and then watch Romo or Warner try to call plays

Saw that video a few months ago on a sports blooper show, it will be funny for eternity. Looks like Boulger will go the same way as Everett and hopefully not in NO.
