Yep, I thought for sure we were done when the skins lined up for the FG. Like Brees said, it's our time to get the breaks.

As soon as the Skins moved into FG territory w 2:00 in the 4th quarter--- yeah! That pretty much looks like the end to any reasonable thinking fan. That missed FG just defies logic, physics, history, and our Curse.
And then I knew it was ours, even if it went to OT, even if we lost the coin toss. They had to feel their own Curse at that point.

I cant even talk today.

It was getting tougher to believe we could come back, but I was yellin' BLOCK THE FIELD GOAL at my TV before Suisham missed it. Then I knew our window of opportunity had opened to get back in the game.

Redskins played very well and found a way to lose that game, I believe every winnig team has a certain amount of luck in the year they win it all (SB). The Saint's used just about all of it during that game hope they have some left for the playoffs and hopefully SB.

Without question, I'm sorry, thought we were done on that drive the Skins were inside our 10 yard line with 3:50 left in the game. Same drive they missed the field goal. We just were not stopping them. Flipping Jason Campbell looked like Joe Montana. What can I say!

I follow the Redskins and have seen them lose too many close games to think they were going to close this one out. If they had actually made the field goal, I would have thought it was probably done, but even then, I would have thought the Saints had a chance for a quick score, an onside kick and another score.

The Skins are just snake-bit this year.

I'm the eternal optimist and the biggest Saints fan of all my friends and they had me stand up and start hollering even louder for the Saints. I think they consider me the lucky 12th man.

I honestly felt in my heart the entire time that we could come back...just a matter of time. The Skins fans around me kept padding me on the back asking if I was worried yet and was I satisfied with 11-1. On the missed FG drive I was surprised they didn't go for it considering they were marching up and down the field like WE normally do. But when Suisham missed that kick, I KNEW it was done. I was actually screaming "shank it" before the kick, and "throw it to Sharper" on that play where Vilma intercepted Campbell. That was just a crazy game and the reaction of the Skins fans was just PRICELESS !

I was prepared to give up, but not until the ball went through and they put 3 on the board. 'Til then I was praying for a miracle. Lo and behold, right there where I stood, in Wal-Mart, frozen section, reaching in for crinkle fries with one hand and my Palm Pre with the game going in the other, it happened. High snap, pressure from the left, kicker kicks right to avoid the pressure and...WIDE RIGHT!!! I said that (along with a fist pump with my bag 'o crinkle fries) a bit loud for my fellow Wal-Mart shoppers and got some strange looks...eff 'em. I BELIEVE BABY!

I thought it was over after the third quarter. We couldn't stop their offense,
and they had the lead. Jenkins got exposed for the rookie he is, getting burned
on almost every pass play. Glad for the win, but if our secondary plays like that
against a team like the vikings, or the cards,or the eagles, then our play off run will be
very short.

I was down, but I was not out. I knew it was almost impossible to come back, but crazier things have happened. Can you say John Elway? When the Redskins missed the fieldgoal, it was like the Heavens opened up, the light shone all around and the angels started singing "Who Dat?"!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah - I did. I have to listen to most fo the games so it gets frustrating.

I was at that game and I tell you. WHO Dats didnt lose faith at all that game. Yes it was some that gave up hope and left early fourth quarter. But when that field goal was missed. Words can't explain the reaction of us in those stands WHO DAT!!!
